We are All Sydney Program Structure

The program covers the following and more:

  • Sydney demographics
  • Cultural humility
  • Leadership styles
  • Coalition building
  • Ethics and community values
  • Organisational management and budgeting
  • Conflict resolution

Sessions are facilitated by experts from the Jewish and other NGO communities and the learning program is active, reflective, practical and outcomes-focused.

The program also offers participants short unpaid internships in Jewish organisations which share the goals of their own organisations and give an opportunity to apply the program coursework to a workplace environment. The placement program gives an opportunity to:

  • Explore their own leadership style in a professional environment
  • Observe how theory is applied to practice in the community services
  • Expand their professional networks and form peer relationships
  • Enhance their professional skills related to the community services sector
  • Enhance employment prospects with experience in the workforce and a reference from their supervisor
  • Engage in dialogue about community issues that matter to them
  • Be a part of a multicultural and multi-faith professional learning environment
